Redon Ophelia Satin Silk Poshminia Scarf
The 'Redon Ophelia' poshminaTM scarf is made from satin silk and inspired by the work Ophelia among the Flowers by the French artist Odilon Redon (1840-1916), which in turn was inspired by the character from Shakespeare's Hamlet. A leading figure in the symbolist movement, Odilon was a nickname for the painter whose given name was Bertrand.
The blue and red floral design is derived from an element of the work and is printed on a glossy satin silk with a brushed silk lining that feels like cashmere on the reverse. Each scarf is individually hand finished.
100% satin silk with a brushed silk lining.
