Lapis Pear Pendant & Necklace

This stunning Lapis Pear Pendant & Necklace is handmade and features a unique gemstone of amazing quality and colour: a real statement piece. The Lapis Lazuli Pendant has an intense royal blue surface, flecked with gold (iron pyrites) inclusions, that has been rough cleaved to leave a natural looking finish. Set in hammered gold vermeil.

The necklace is a 5mm wide rough hammered Gold Necktorc made with gold vermeil (gold plated silver). The necklace is a flexible solid metal that moulds to the neck and can be worn with the pendant or simply on its own. It does not have a closure clasp, it slips around the neck via the open back and moulds around the neck.

The Lapis Lazuli has an intense, matt royal blue, flecked with gold (iron pyrites) inclusions, rough-cut to leave a natural looking finish. There is a rough surface on both the lapis lazuli and the gold plated silver for a natural organic “found” look.  The roughness of the cut gives an undulating outline to the gold plated silver setting edge.
