Glyndebourne Festival 2001 Poster - Le nozze di Figaro

Painted exclusively for Glyndebourne Festival 2001, this is one of six rare posters printed from Adam Birtwistle’s paintings that reflect the six composers of the productions staged that year.

This poster, depicting a tempera and gouache painting of composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, was produced to coincide with Glyndebourne’s staging of Le nozze di Figaro.

Adam Birtwistle was also the Glyndebourne programme cover artist for 2001.
