This year's Programme Book cover, commissioned by Glyndebourne, is Opera Glasses by Pablo Bronstein.
Pablo Bronstein (b. 1977) is a British-Argentinian artist whose multidisciplinary practice encompasses drawing, printmaking, painting, performance and installation.
He studied at the Slade School of Fine Art and Goldsmiths College, both in London. Bronstein’s work critically engages with architectural history and design, frequently referencing the visual language of the Baroque and Rococo. Witty and occasionally sardonic, his works examine shifting cultural values and aesthetic conventions, always underpinned by precise and highly detailed forms.
