Peony Ribbons Necklace

This show-stopping necklace perfectly defines eclectic chic, by coupling together effortless "ribbons" of sleek rectangular tiles in a harmonious blend of materials. 

Each component is handmade from coloured translucent resin and hugged by pieces of polished aluminium. The resin is combined with a mix of materials including sustainably sourced Capiz shell, silverleaf and a bespoke technique of layering silverleaf on top of an internal rippled texture. The silverleaf, shell and aluminium all create their own unique lustre.

The components measure approx. smallest: W1 x H1.4 x D0.7cm; largest: W1.1cm x H3.5cm x D0.7 and are suspended along with aluminium spacers from laminated surgical steel wire measuring 43cm (17 inches).

The necklace fastens using a lobster clasp with a 5cm extension chain for adjusting the necklace length.

All the jewellery components are both nickel free and hypo-allergenic.
