Glyndebourne Festival Programme Book 2026

The Festival 2026 Programme Book cover artist is William Kentridge. One of the most influential artists working today, Kentridge is also an Olivier Award-winning opera director and directs L'Orfeo at Glyndebourne this summer. 

The front and back covers of the Programme Book are titled Drawing for L’Orfeo (Vessel – Honduran) and Drawing for L’Orfeo (Vessel – Utopia) respectively. Inside, are six further ink drawings that appear as title pages for this season’s operas. 

Since it was first produced in 1952, the Glyndebourne Programme Book has become a collector’s item. Editorial content is curated by a range of distinguished contributors and each year the cover of the Programme Book is designed by an internationally renowned artist.
