Rusalka Limited Edition Print by Lois Oliver

This exquisite etching is by Lois Oliver from a series called Glyndebourne: Figures in the Garden.

Exploring how the essence of a performance persists in memory and imagination, Oliver relocates the disguise and drama of the stage into the sanctuary of Glyndebourne’s gardens. The series title comes from Jonathan Dove’s Figures in the Garden, a wind serenade based on the merest ghosts of melodies from Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro, written for performance in the gardens of Glyndebourne.
