Glyndebourne Opera at the Edinburgh Festival 1960 Poster

Glyndebourne returned to the Edinburgh Festival in 1960 for a residency at the King's Theatre with five productions, including Falstaff, I puritani, Il segreto di Susanna and Arlecchino.

This residency would also mark the UK premiere of Poulenc's La Voix humaine, directed and designed for Glyndebourne by Jean Cocteau.
