Tom Homewood (b.1972) is a Sussex based painter. He studied under Llewellyn Thomas RCA at Kent Institute of Art & Design where his peers included internationally acclaimed artists, Dan Baldwin and Carne Griffiths. Following graduation, Homewood was offered a position in a UK Top 100 advertising agency. He accepted and spent the next decade illustrating and art directing for international beauty and fashion brands including Dior, Armani and Lancôme. Following a sell-out exhibition with London’s Northcote Gallery in 2007, Homewood left the world of advertising to become a full-time painter. His work has been featured in numerous group exhibitions both in the UK and internationally. In 2006, Tom was invited to be in residence at the National Opera Studio and this year, marks his third season of exhibiting work at Glyndebourne.
