Charlotte Posner (b.1987) is a London-based contemporary artist, best known for her vivacious, vibrant and hand- painted Pop Doll series. A graduate in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Arts and The Prince’s Foundation School of Traditional Arts, Posner’s takes inspiration from the crossover between fashion, branding, commodity and popular culture. She works in an array of different mediums, from intricate pen and ink drawings to large-scale graffiti street art. Through her work, Posner has gathered a prolific social media presence with interest from major brands including Coca-Cola, Walls, Kellogg's, Nails INC, Disney and Magnum UK. Charlotte has also been an in-house artist at Louis Vuitton and Japanese cosmetics brand, Shiseido. In 2018, she was a finalist in the Saatchi Gallery Drawing Competition. Posner has exhibited work internationally and in the UK, including at the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition, Tate Modern and Christie’s. This is the first time Glyndebourne has exhibited Posner’s work.
